Techy Tester

NCCA - slide show

A slide show I was testing out for work, not a bad little FREE tool if I say so myself.

What Alice Found

One of my favourite shops in bmth, What Alice Found.
Couldn't resist this peachy pencil number. Investing in the 9-5 uniform, is my excuse for any unneccesary purchase these days.

Instagram

These are the lovely piccies my love friends Freddie and Amy took of us using Instagram. It's the ONLY thing all the Dalston superstars use to upload pictures with don't you know.

On a side note I think I will have to make the journey over to tumblr, as I have pretty much wasted my whole evening trying, and failing, to apply the new web fonts.

Blue Eyed Goodbye

One of the things I really enjoy about being Nerve* fashion editor is finding fresh student designing talent which is unique, home grown and a nice alternative to the blandness of commercial slogans asos or topshop.com spew out.

Blue Eyed Goodbye is no exception, AUCB student Matt Fletcher designs this lovely arrange of unisex Tees. I particulaly like the cheeky High Five and the mysterious lady legs photography is a nice touch of branding too.

Volume Magazine

Seriously impressed with this find. Brought to my attention by the wonderful creative crew at deerbrains, I present to you Volume magazine.

An online FREE downloadable mag, (top favourite for my student expenditure), it is a treasure packed with gorgeous photography to accompany well crafted interviews with up and coming musical acts, stunning fashion ideas, (mid read I actually made a purchase from Doghouse) and has delectable sorts of the currently under appreciated art of poetry.

The left T below is the one that bribed me into a hasty online purchase. Why kids are cunts and full fat diets, hells yes.

King Koma

Used my contacts for this month's Nerve*. Grabbed a chat with my pal Aisha about her life as first assistant to up and coming fashion designer, David Koma.

Jukebox Vintage shoot for Nerve* Fashion

I can't really take a huge amount of credit for this one; shot by the fabulous Georgie Wishart, styled by the girls at Jukebox Vintage and modelled by my good friends Jordan and Sam.
Except the lay out. I don't think i'm doing too badly with this in-design malarky, do you?! judge for yourself.
To be published in March edition of Nerve* magazine.
